For What It's Worth
So check this out. It's an entire website dedicated to what a former PR exec thinks happened to Dave Chappelle. Some of the stuff is actually crazy enough to be believable. Read and enjoy.
I haven't blogged the past few days, I know it's weird. I've started to a few times, got to a point and just stopped. I don't know what it is, mid topic, I don't wanna talk about things anymore. I think it's a part of my new outlook on things.
I'm 25 years old and ready to grab the world by storm. My birthday was Sunday (12/18) and it was...uneventful. I'm not too upset, though, cuz I'm headin' to NY Thursday and that's where all the people I would celebrate with live anyways. I'm ready to get the next 25 under way, anyway. I was telling Beckner (who called me to wish me a happy birthday, go figure. The boy was TERRIBLE when we were dating but he's the sweetest friend ever) that I was excited to be 25 and felt like my time to shine was on the horizon. I told him I felt like a Sex and the City girl and he told me he understood, which is rare cuz me and making sense don't go hand in hand, at all. Don't know why I shared that, but moving on.
I did have a bout of slight upset when certain people didn't call, IM or email me, wishing me a happy birthday, but I got over it. It just put things in perspective. Everyone's not me and I gotta deal with that. One of the best pieces of advice my dad ever gave me was that I had to watch out for being a friend to someone who wasn't a friend to me. 25 years later, lesson learned. Just cuz I'd make it a point to call someone at midnight on their birthday doesn't mean they'll extend that same courtesy to me. So I got over myself and quickly forgave anyone I may have been upset with. Life lessons, everyday's something new. I'm rambling, seriously, next subject.
So the blog may be a little scarce over the next couple of weeks since I'm so busy when I go home. I've already got a trip to Albany planned (TWC!!) and I'm gonna be with my boo (the HOT TB), so who KNOWS where the road will take me. I made a point NOT to make any promises, dates and/or meetings cuz I don't wanna hear anybody's mouth if I don't make it to see 'em. I'll get to the important ones, though, bank on that. So if I see ya, you're important. If not, don't take it personal, chalk it up to my A.D.D. and smile at my antics. :-D
Enjoy the article and I'll try to blog as much as possible when I'm in NY, promise promise. Do I believe what the lady is saying? Yes and no. No one really knows what happened to Dave Chappelle but Dave Chappelle, for what it's worth.
