Relinquishing Power

I'm tired, guys. Tired of trying to make sure everything works out for everyone I'm involved with. It's draining and I can't afford to do it anymore. Since no one asked me in the first place, I doubt they'll be able to see a difference.

I'm no longer going to set things up for people to become successful nor am I going to match my friends up in hopes of a wedding. From here on out, me, my mouth, body and mind are all focusing on ONE thing: myself. I'm not gonna worry myself with others' situations or try to make everyone happy.

I am relinquishing my power over any and everything I may have had a hand in. If it makes me selfish, then so be it. I'm done.

Is That Eyeliner You're Wearing, Charlie Day?

So I was watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia a few weeks ago when I noticed that Charlie 's eyes were so prominent. He's a funny little man whose antics never fail to please so I pushed it to the back of my mind. I know people wear eyeliner to bring out the expression in their eyes because the lighting drowns it out, whatever floats your boat. And you never know, he may have REALLY pretty eyes that just look like he's wearing eyeliner. Then I was watching last night and realized there was no DOUBT Charlie was wearing eyeliner and I couldn't shake it. It really took me out of it. Nonethless, the show was AWESOME and I don't care if Charlie's a cross-dressing salad tosser's bitch, I'd watch him any time. Check it out, cuz it's quite possibly the best TV I've seen in a while.

Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself...To Myself

Hello people, I am BACK!! I had a rough couple of days there, but I'm back and ready to take on the world. I've come to many a conclusion and am getting some plans in motion. First thing: It's back to NY for me in May. I figure I should give myself a bit of a window to shut down things here in ATL and get it poppin' for the apartment in BK. Second thing: I hate Sundays. Football aside, Sundays are sucking. I always end up having some sort of heart to heart or painful conversation on Sundays. So from now on, my cell phone's off and my away message will be up EVERY Sunday. Besides, my 2nd job starts soon and I plan to work as much as possible to fund my 25th Birthday Bash. Third thing: I'm happy being single. There was a point where I thought I wanted a relationship, but that's not what I need right now. Si nce writing my last blog where I said I’d talk about Corey in-depth, I've thought of nothing else. So, as promised, I plan to talk about Corey in this blog. And I’m gonna be real, raw and uncut, so expect a myriad of emotions to come through. Corey, I like him. Well, actually, more than like, but that’s all I’m gonna own up to.
